Hi there, my name is Ed. I’m a salsa dancer, casual cyclist, light jogger, swimmer. I’m interested in the recruitment and retention of women in technology. I work for Microsoft as an Academic Developer Evangelist in the East Region (MD, DC, VA, WV, NC, SC). As an ADE, I get to work with students and faculty in higher education. I get to give technical presentations about programming games for the Xbox, creating Windows Phone 7 applications, and pretty soon creating Windows 8 applications! I talk about the Imagine Cup, appLabs, and Game Camps. If you’re interested in having me on campus to give a workshop, speak to your class (I love encouraging women in tech), or submit a conference session, please let me know!
